SYNNEX Corporation

Mr. Murai serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at SYNNEX Corporation with leadership responsibility for all aspects of the business. Mr. Murai joined SYNNEX in March 2008 as Co-Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As a seasoned executive, Mr. Murai has more than 19 years of distribution channel experience with focused expertise in global management, operations, information technology and customer relationships.

Prior to SYNNEX, Mr. Murai was President and Chief Operating Officer of Ingram Micro. During his nineteen-year tenure at Ingram Micro, he held a series of senior management positions in all aspect of the Company’s operations and was responsible for the integration of Ingram Micro’s former U.S. and Canadian regions as a single management team.

Mr. Murai holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

 
Mitchell P. Martin, President Mitchell Martin,
President, SYNNEX Canada Limited

In March 2009, Mr. Martin was appointed President, SYNNEX Canada Limited with full P & L responsibility for the Canadian Business. Prior to this, he served as President, Broadline Division for SYNNEX Canada.

Mr. Martin joined Merisel Canada's Products department in 1989 where he was instrumental in moving many of the industry's largest suppliers to a two-tiered distribution system. In 1999, he became the Senior Vice President of Product and Inventory Management for Merisel Americas based in El Segundo, California. In 2000, he returned to Canada as President, Merisel Canada.

Mr. Martin graduated from York University in Toronto with a Master's degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in the areas of product marketing and product management.

 
Keith Jalbert, Vice President, Commercial Sales & Business Development Keith Jalbert,
Vice President, Commercial Sales

In June 2006, SYNNEX Canada welcomed Mr. Jalbert to the Team as Vice President, Technology Solutions Division. Mr. Jalbert brings over 20 years of experience selling high value IT products to both resellers and end user customers.

Prior to joining the SYNNEX Team, he was instrumental in guiding Agilysis/KeyLink Systems in Canada to become a leading high value solution products distribution company.

 
Mark  Hardy, Vice President, Product Management Mark Hardy,
Vice President, Product Management

Mr. Hardy joined the SYNNEX Canada team in 1998 and has held progressive positions in both Marketing and Product Management. Mr. Hardy was promoted to lead the Product Management team in 2005 and was promoted to his current title in 2007.

Prior to joining SYNNEX, Mr. Hardy spent more than 10 years in both distribution and retail roles.

Mr. Hardy holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph with emphasis in several disciplines.

Mr. Montminy joined SYNNEX Canada in December, 2010 as Vice-President of Retail Product Management with responsibility for consumer electronics and retail software vendors.

Prior to that, Mr. Montminy held senior positions with IBM for 26 years in Sales, Marketing, and Channel Management at both a North American and a Global level.

Mr. Montminy earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's Degree of Applied Science in Engineering from Laval University in Quebec.

 
Charlie Spano, Vice President, Finance Charlie Spano,
Vice President, Finance

Mr. Spano joined SYNNEX Canada in October 2009 as Vice President, Finance. Before joining SYNNEX, Mr. Spano was a Vice President of Finance with Canwest Broadcast and Canadian Chief Financial Officer for Ingram Micro Canada.

Mr. Spano also spent 7 years with Deloitte & Touche in Mississauga.

Mr. Spano is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience in Finance, Tax, Business Planning and Analysis, and Treasury. In 1988 he graduated from the University of Toronto at Mississauga with a Bachelor of Commerce.

 
Michael Gazdic, Vice President, Marketing Michael Gazdic,
Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Gazdic joined SYNNEX Canada in June 2009 as the Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for leading SYNNEX Canada’s marketing efforts utilizing his expertise in initiating, developing and executing meaningful channel sales programs and marketing campaigns.

He is instrumental in the launch and management of Varnex Canada, SYNNEX’ small-to-medium business community designed specifically for the Canadian reseller community.

Prior to joining SYNNEX Canada, Mr. Gazdic was formerly with Ingram Micro Canada, Inc. as the Vice President of Vendor Management, where he was responsible for all vendor customized marketing programs, vendor sales specialists and purchasing.

 
George Kelly, Vice President, Operations George Kelly,
Vice President of Operations

Mr. Kelly was appointed Vice President of Operations in September of 2004. He joined the SYNNEX team in 1995 and has grown through a series of positions such as, Senior Operations Manager of the Toronto Distribution Centre and Director of Operations for Canada.

Prior to Joining SYNNEX, Mr. Kelly held the role of Product Launch Manager with Xerox Canada. Mr. Kelly attended Sheridan College for two years, followed by two years at York University where he studied Logistics.

Mr. Dunne joined SYNNEX Canada Ltd. in December 1994 as an Inside Sales Representative. Since that time, he has held various positions in the company, including Director of Inside Sales, Director of National Accounts and Director of Business Development.

Prior to his employment at SYNNEX, Mr. Dunne held management positions at a Value Added Reseller and at an automobile dealership.

In 1985, he graduated from York University in Toronto, Ontario with a degree in Mathematics for Commerce.

 
Alan Buttery, Senior Vice President, Financial Operations Alan Buttery,
Senior Vice President, Financial Operations

Alan Buttery is Senior Vice President, Financial Operations. He joined SYNNEX in 1997, and his roles have expanded over time to include responsibility for North America Financial Solutions, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, and responsibility for U.S. Accounts Payable. Mr. Buttery provides additional support to other SYNNEX business units including Concentrix and SYNNEX Infotec Japan, and he continues to develop innovative financial solutions for all of our constituents. Mr. Buttery has over 20 years of financial operations experience including work in the banking industry.

Mr. Buttery holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Human Resources from Central Wesleyan College and a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from the University of South Carolina.

 
Jim Kapogianis, Vice President, Retail Sales Jim Kapogianis,
Vice President, Retail Sales

In November 2008, Mr. Kapogianis joined SYNNEX as Director, Sales as part of the Jack Of All Games acquisition, where he also held the role of Director of Sales. In June 2016, he was appointed Vice President, Retail Sales and is responsible for helping shape and grow SYNNEX Canada’s leadership position in the Canadian Retail Channel.

Mr. Kapogianis has over 25 years of experience in the North American Retail Industry, where he has held leadership positions at IBM, Take 2 Interactive and Atari. In his 10 year tenure at IBM Canada, Mr. Kapogianis was instrumental in the growth of IBM Canada’s retail presence by helping with all aspects of the expansion of the IBM Store footprint. He has spent time in the US managing Take 2 Interactive and Atari’s largest retails partners, and he has also spent several years in the online channel with Groove Interactive, a Canadian Startup.

Mr. Kapogianis was instrumental in the launch and continued success of SYNNEX Canada’s Industry Leading Retail Revolution Event, designed specifically to help the Retail community engage with the leading edge vendor community at SYNNEX.
